Program Integration & Scale-Up Lead

About the role

Lonza, a global life sciences company, is looking for a Senior Director, Program Integration and Scale-Up Lead. The role integrates and synchronizes the outputs of Advanced Industry workstreams into coherent, scalable solution packages, maintaining a clear view of increment maturity, timing, dependencies and readiness. As a core member of the Advanced Industry Leadership Team, it turns individual workstream outputs into an integrated, deployment-ready blueprint.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the integrated plan across workstreams, pilots, lighthouses and increments, synchronized with the Genesis implementation timeline, and manage cross-workstream dependencies and sequencing
• Aggregate validated increments into solution packages and the manufacturing blueprint, keeping interfaces between manufacturing, technology, data, lab and facility solutions aligned
• Define deployment-readiness criteria and turn ready increments into project requirements for capacity expansions, brownfield projects and new builds
• Prioritize pilots and increments by value, feasibility, scalability and timing, and quantify unit-cost impact with Finance & Value Realization
• Own cross-workstream risks and dependencies, drive mitigation and escalation, and align Workstream Leads, Platforms, sites, Engineering and project teams

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master in Business Administration, Operations Management, Program / Project Management or a related discipline
• Highly experienced in Manufacturing & Business Transformation
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, engineering delivery, operational excellence and GMP-regulated environments
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across platforms, sites, projects and global functions without direct authority
