Programme Management Intern – Early Warnings for All

About the role

This six‑month internship supports UNDRR’s Early Warnings for All programme. Working within the Risk Knowledge, Monitoring, and Capacity Development Branch, the intern will assist in coordinating early warning initiatives and contribute to technical workstreams that strengthen multi‑hazard risk assessment and data support for countries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with coordination and delivery of early warning initiatives supported under the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and Climate Resilience and Early Warning Systems (CREWS).
• Support technical workstreams related to multi‑hazard risk‑assessment trainings, risk and disaster data assistance to countries, and joint EW4All programmes.
• Help prepare events and meetings such as the EW4All Advisory Panel, Global Coordination and Member States Briefings.
• Contribute to preparations for the 2027 Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction.
• Provide general assistance to the EW4All team as needed.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or have completed a graduate programme, or be in the final academic year of a bachelor’s degree.
• Computer literate with standard software applications.
