Project Manager – Basel

About the role

PM Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Basel office. You will lead multi‑disciplinary, high‑value projects from concept through handover, ensuring safe and compliant delivery for clients in pharma, food, med‑tech and other mission‑critical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for technical and commercial delivery of assigned projects.
• Develop and maintain Quality Plans and Project Compliance Trackers.
• Define project scope, budget and delivery strategy in collaboration with the PM team and customers.
• Organise project documentation, kick‑off meetings and the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
• Monitor strategy effectiveness, adjust to changing circumstances, and manage construction/contracting execution using PM Group tools.
• Coordinate design across all disciplines, subcontractors and site teams.
• Prepare monthly internal reports and flag any commercial or compliance risks early.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements and assess project risks.

Required profile

• Honours/Bachelor degree (Level 8) in Engineering, Construction, Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant project management experience.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Good understanding of all engineering and construction disciplines.
