Project Manager – Biotech Startup (Zurich)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing biotech startup in Zurich seeking a proactive Project Manager to coordinate cross‑functional initiatives, streamline operations and keep strategic projects on track. The role works closely with leadership, scientific teams and external partners to ensure efficient execution of ambitious programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cross‑functional projects across operations, research and business teams.
• Track timelines, deliverables, risks and dependencies, and report progress to leadership.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners or vendors.
• Build and improve operational processes to support rapid company growth.
• Prepare project updates, reports and presentations for senior management.
• Manage meeting schedules, agendas, follow‑ups and action items.
• Support budgeting, resource planning and maintain project documentation.
• Identify bottlenecks early and implement solutions before issues escalate.

Required profile

• Based in Zurich (firm requirement).
• 3+ years of experience in project management, operations or startup environments.
• Experience in biotech, healthcare, life‑sciences or scientific industries is a strong advantage.
• Excellent organisational, multitasking and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent in English; German and/or French a significant plus.
• Proactive, resource‑ful and solutions‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital project‑management tools such as Notion, Asana, ClickUp, Jira and Slack.
