Project Manager Engineering

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Project Manager, Engineering to lead engineering projects that support manufacturing operations, product development, and continuous improvement. The role is hybrid and based in Zuchwil, Switzerland, with occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from initiation through completion, defining scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and external partners.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports for stakeholders.
• Identify project risks, implement mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Manage change control processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
• 5–8 years of experience in engineering project management within a regulated, manufacturing or medical‑device environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar.
• Agile and Waterfall project‑management methodologies.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO standards.
• Budget and risk management.
