Project Manager Hydropower

About the role

Join an international team dedicated to developing and delivering hydroelectric projects across Europe. As a Project Manager you will apply your technical, environmental and regulatory expertise from development through to commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to development teams in evaluating hydropower projects across Europe.
• Lead technical, environmental and regulatory due‑diligence studies and manage external consultants.
• Establish and maintain project budgets, schedules and risk assessments.
• Monitor permitting, grid‑connection and regulatory compliance processes in relevant European countries.
• Coordinate internal technical teams and external partners throughout project delivery.
• Assume responsibility for project execution after the Final Investment Decision, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and cost targets.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (e.g., EPFL) or equivalent.
• 5‑10 years of experience in technical development, engineering or delivery of hydropower or energy infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of technical, environmental and regulatory aspects of hydropower projects.
• Experience managing studies, due‑diligences and external service providers.
• Excellent command of English and at least one additional European language (Italian, French or German).
