Purchasing Specialist – Supply Chain (Lausanne)

About the role

Flyability is looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join its Supply Chain team in Lausanne. You will be responsible for ensuring the continuous availability of materials needed for manufacturing, repairs, and product delivery, while supporting new product introductions in a fast‑growing drone robotics company.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and generate replenishment proposals using Odoo.
• Anticipate material shortages and coordinate mitigation actions with Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and Finance.
• Create, issue and track purchase orders in Odoo from creation to receipt.
• Maintain strong day‑to‑day relationships with suppliers, monitor delivery performance and resolve operational issues.
• Support supplier qualification, transitions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement MRP calculations, maintain procurement parameters and master data in the ERP system.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to align procurement activities with operational priorities.

Required profile

• CFC, Bachelor’s degree or proven experience in purchasing/planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a pragmatic, efficient and results‑oriented approach.
• Excellent command of English.
• Ability to work autonomously and coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Odoo ERP system.
