QA Automation Engineer

About the role

Air Apps is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications. You will work onsite in Lisbon, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure high quality and reliability of our AI‑powered products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and mobile platforms.
• Create and execute automated regression, functional, performance, and API tests.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability and early defect detection.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and report issues.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in test automation development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with SDLC.

Required skills

• Automation frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright.
• Programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• API testing tools: Postman, REST Assured.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI.
• Version control: Git.
• Test management: TestRail, Zephyr.
• Performance testing: JMeter, Gatling (optional).
• Mobile testing on iOS & Android (optional).
