Quality Control & Compliance Specialist

About the role

FoodYoung Labs is seeking an experienced Quality Control & Compliance Specialist to ensure the highest quality standards across its food production processes. You will work closely with production teams, suppliers, and cross‑functional partners to maintain compliance with international food safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with IFS, HACCP, HARPC, FDA and FSMA standards.
• Guide and support production staff in adhering to current regulations and internal quality standards.
• Monitor, maintain and continuously improve quality control systems and procedures.
• Manage documentation, audits and certification processes.
• Act as the primary contact for suppliers on quality and compliance matters.
• Collaborate with various teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar quality control or compliance role, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of IFS, HACCP, HARPC, FDA and FSMA frameworks.
• Hands‑on approach with the ability to work closely with production teams.
• Excellent communication skills in Italian and English; French is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and solution‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of Odoo (preferred).
