Quality Engineer – Full-Time (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Quality Engineer at Studer Cables you will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to identify, analyse and resolve quality issues.

Key responsibilities

• Record, document and manage errors, deviations and quality defects in our CAQ software.
• Analyse root causes using methods such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagram and 8D.
• Provide technical and organisational support to identify corrective measures using appropriate quality tools.
• Initiate, coordinate and monitor emergency, corrective and preventive actions together with relevant departments.
• Prepare quality reports (e.g., 8D) and perform analyses such as quality metrics and defect‑rate calculations.

Required profile

• Training as a quality‑assurance technician or a technician with additional QA training.
• Experience in quality assurance or customer‑complaint management.
• Knowledge of quality methods and problem‑solving techniques.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with ERP and CAQ systems (preferred).
