Quality Inspector – Industrial Production

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our client’s production team in Villeneuve. The role focuses on ensuring product and process compliance, supporting the zero‑defect goal, and driving continuous quality improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections of parts, products and equipment according to quality control plans.
• Verify conformity after rework, approve repairs and oversee special processes.
• Operate precision measurement tools such as dimensional gauges, profilometers and X‑ray equipment.
• Record and analyse inspection results using digital tools and ERP systems.
• Identify, characterize and report defects using methods like 5W, 5W2H, 8D and Ishikawa.
• Participate in internal and external ISO 9001 audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure inspection methods meet deadlines and maintain high reliability and accuracy.

Required profile

• Certification Cofrend or equivalent according to NF EN ISO 9712:2012.
• PT2 (Penetrant Testing Level 2) – mandatory.
• VT2 (Visual Testing Level 2) – mandatory.
• MT2 (Magnetic Testing Level 2) – preferred.
• Technical training (vocational baccalaureate to bachelor’s degree) with 2‑3 years of higher education.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial quality or inspection.
• Proven experience in a production environment and familiarity with ISO 9001 and GPS tolerancing.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Required skills

• Use of precision measurement equipment (dimensional, profilometry, X‑ray).
• Digital quality tools and ERP systems.
• Quality methods: 8D, MSA, root‑cause analysis, audits.
• Defect analysis techniques (5W, 5W2H, Ishikawa).
