Quality Officer – Food & Feed Industry

About the role

As a Quality Officer at ADM, you will ensure that raw materials, finished products, and customer documentation meet strict quality and safety standards. Based in Switzerland, you will support both product and customer quality activities while reporting to the Quality and Food Safety Director.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supplier and raw‑material approval processes, including risk analysis and audit planning.
• Define specifications, control plans, and analysis requirements for new products and formulation changes.
• Perform hazard analyses (chemical, physical, microbiological, fraud) and implement mitigation actions.
• Maintain yearly control plans, organize meetings, and set internal limits for non‑legislated parameters.
• Manage specification sheets, certificates of analysis, and act as backup for the Quality Control Manager.
• Release finished products, issue certificates of analysis, and support production transfers.
• Create and update safety data sheets, composition certificates, product labels, and statements for customers.
• Handle customer quality questionnaires, complaints, and collaborate with the Product Registration team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Quality, Chemistry, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in document management, quality, food/feed industry, or chemistry.
• Strong sense of responsibility, structure, and rigor in quality documentation.
• Comfortable using new software tools and MS Office.

Required skills

• Analytical chemistry techniques (GC, HPLC, FTIR, moisture analysis).
• Certificate of Analysis software.
• MS Office proficiency.
