R&D Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a passionate full‑stack developer who loves designing, building and testing every layer of the system. You will work on expanding and evolving our modules to make them more flexible, open and robust, delivering software that supports critical business needs of our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain backend services using Java (11‑21) and Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive web applications with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and modern frameworks such as Vue.js 3 (Vite) or React.
• Refactor legacy codebases that include RequireJS, Handlebars, LESS and Grunt.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests (JUnit, Vitest) and manage builds with Maven, npm and optionally Gradle.
• Integrate LLM APIs, design prompts and use AI coding assistants while ensuring quality and security.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfortable working in an agile environment with fast‑changing priorities.

Required skills

• Java (11‑21), Spring Boot, Groovy or Kotlin.
• JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Vue.js 3, Vite, React.
• Experience with legacy front‑end tools (RequireJS, Handlebars, LESS, Grunt).
• Testing frameworks: JUnit, Vitest.
• Build tools: Maven, npm, Gradle (optional).
• Web servers, REST APIs, PostgreSQL.
• Hands‑on with LLM model APIs, prompt design, AI coding assistants.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenText Content Server or other ECM/EIM platforms is a plus.
