About the role

Labcorp is looking for a Reception and Registration Operator to join its Geneva team in Laboratory Pre-analytical Services. The position is a 12-month contract working from Tuesday to Saturday.

Key responsibilities

Receive deliveries from couriers and resolve misrouted shipments
Open incoming samples, check their temperature and clean up after opening
Ensure quality control of discarded material and report issues to management
Scan documents into the database and archive them electronically
Work in the aliquoting area: maintain instruments, prepare manual aliquots and sort test samples by procedure (manual or automatic sorter)
Sort specimens for storage, identify them in the pre-analytical system and ensure kits and samples reach departments on time

Required profile

1 year of professional experience
Intermediate English
A CFC diploma is appreciated
Interest in IT, process automation, continuous improvement and operational optimisation is appreciated

Required skills

Knowledge of VBA, HTML, JavaScript, PHP or Microsoft Power Apps is appreciated
