About the role
The Regional Category Manager for CMO Europe is responsible for sourcing materials and managing suppliers to meet quality, reliability, cost, and delivery requirements across the assigned region.
Key responsibilities
- Source materials and manage suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, cost and delivery standards.
- Accountable for the sourcing process in the assigned site/region/category and align procurement strategies with customer and commercial business needs.
- Support one or multiple categories as part of a global or regional category team.
- Evaluate suppliers, create and maintain contracts, negotiate pricing and build vendor relationships.
- Partner with stakeholders to define, review and monitor supplier performance.
- Improve systems and processes to increase efficiency and service effectiveness.
Required profile
- Bachelor degree in a business or technical discipline relevant to CSL products.
- 7+ years of procurement or supply management experience.
- Purchasing Management Certification (ISM/CPM, CIPS) preferred.
- Demonstrated success negotiating complex supply agreements.
