Regional Supply Planner

About the role

The Regional Supply Planner will lead the monthly S&OP process for acetic anhydride, ethyl acetate and OMSD‑related products across the EMEA region. You will ensure that production, inventory and distribution plans meet customer demand while controlling costs and working capital.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a rolling production plan for EMEA IC and OMSD product lines, incorporating capacity, shipping requirements and third‑party supply.
• Manage inventory of key raw materials and finished goods to meet strategic and working‑capital targets.
• Facilitate regional OMSD S&OP meetings, balance demand and supply, and present scenario‑based recommendations.
• Optimize distribution costs through site sourcing plans and use of third‑party tanks and terminals.
• Plan and execute EMEA raw‑material and finished‑goods requisitions, purchase‑order management, and SAP R/3 MRP data maintenance.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply risks and lead special projects aimed at process improvement and cost reduction.

Required profile

• University degree related to supply chain, logistics, engineering or a comparable field.
• Proven supply‑planning experience, preferably in the chemical or intermediate‑chemistry business.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to quickly identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Result‑oriented attitude and strong negotiation skills with internal and external partners.
