Regional Supply Planner

About the role

As a Regional Supply Planner you will balance immediate operational needs with short‑ and long‑term growth objectives for our Engineered Materials portfolio. You will act as the central orchestrator, linking cross‑functional teams and translating complex supply dynamics into competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain a long‑range supply plan at business line, regional and monthly levels.
• Conduct long‑term raw‑material planning using SAP and Blue Yonder.
• Optimize supply decisions to meet demand profitably over a 24‑month horizon.
• Coordinate regional demand and supply with external suppliers, tollers and joint ventures.
• Evaluate scenarios to maximize global and regional margins.
• Provide optimization output and constraints to master production planners and commercial teams.
• Maintain supply‑planning master data in SAP and Blue Yonder (e.g., stocking strategies, supply constraints).
• Support S&OP meetings with long‑term recommendations and improvement ideas.
• Track KPIs, perform root‑cause analysis and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field; MBA or MS preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in S&OP or supply‑chain planning.
• APICS or similar certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Leadership and presentation abilities.
• 2–3 years of experience working in a SAP planning environment.
• Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., JDA/Blue Yonder) preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office tools.
• Chemical‑industry experience is a plus.
