Researcher (Anti-Scam)

About the role

Seraph Secure is looking for a versatile researcher to help protect users from increasingly sophisticated scams. Working remotely, you will join a distributed team that uses human intelligence to feed and improve automated, AI‑driven anti‑scam systems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new platforms and venues where scammers operate, such as social media, dating sites, and local marketplaces.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate fresh data sources into the company’s database.
• Engage with scammers to understand their tactics and build a comprehensive knowledge base.
• Share insights that enhance the performance of automated detection tools.
• Analyse connections between scammers to construct cases or narratives.
• Contribute innovative ideas for defeating scam operations.
• Validate and develop intelligence gathered from community submissions.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, able to work independently without close supervision.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive, intuitive approach to problem‑solving.
• Strong interest in online technology trends and the digital threat landscape.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience thriving in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
