Revenue Analyst – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

Join Lonza’s Drug Product branch in Basel on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract as a Revenue Analyst. You will ensure accurate revenue and cost performance reporting across multiple systems and support financial reporting for pharmaceutical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor drug product revenue and cost performance, ensuring data integrity in SAP, Planview and other systems.
• Partner with manufacturing sites, program managers and supporting functions to track activities impacting revenue.
• Perform deferred revenue and work‑in‑progress analysis for compliant financial reporting.
• Support month‑end close, reconciliations, audits and data validations with Finance teams.
• Analyze revenue performance, identify risks and trends, and provide insights to leadership.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards and monthly leadership reports.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities to enhance reporting transparency and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Life Sciences or related field.
• Experience in project coordination, commercial operations, financial analysis or business support within life‑sciences or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong financial and commercial awareness with ability to understand project costs and risks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across functions.
• Fluent written and spoken English with a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Lists and Power Automate.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise systems.
