RF Design Engineer – Wireless Systems for Hearing Solutions

About the role

As an RF Design Engineer you will play a key role in developing the next generation of wireless technologies that power innovative hearing solutions. Working within the Electronic Systems & RF team you will contribute from early concept development through product integration and certification, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers in an international R&D environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define technical specifications for RF functions, including circuits and antenna systems.
• Design, develop and optimise PCB antennas and RF circuits from concept to product integration.
• Create verification strategies, develop test plans and perform verification of RF solutions.
• Perform RF simulations and evaluate antenna and transceiver performance using industry‑leading tools.
• Support design, development and verification of next‑generation wireless communication platforms.
• Lead RF compliance activities and ensure product conformance with regulatory standards.
• Manage and support RF certification activities with external test laboratories.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on technology assessments and future wireless platform development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in RF design within an R&D environment, including antenna design, RF measurements and wireless system development.
• Strong expertise in RF simulation tools such as ADS and CST Studio Suite.
• Hands‑on experience with RF laboratory equipment (VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, antenna measurement systems).
• Experience designing analog circuits and PCB‑based RF solutions.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth, ISM (2.4 GHz) and low‑power wireless technologies.
• Knowledge of MATLAB and Altium Designer is an advantage.
• Fluent written and spoken English; German or French is a plus.
