Safeguarding Advisor

About the role

MSF is strengthening its institutional safeguarding capacity and seeks a Safeguarding Advisor to provide technical expertise and support across the organization. The role contributes to the development of policies, tools, and solutions that advance safeguarding objectives within a humanitarian context.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to departments on safeguarding policies and practices.
• Support the development and implementation of tools and solutions for prevention, detection, reporting, and response.
• Collaborate with the Safeguarding Unit and Case Management Lead to ensure effective handling of complaints and reports.
• Assist in the rollout of safeguarding measures across programmes and operational sites.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and coordination of the flying safeguarding team.

Required profile

• Passionate commitment to MSF’s humanitarian mission.
• Experience or strong interest in safeguarding, protection, or related fields.
• Ability to work in a diverse, inclusive environment and support diverse staff voices.
• Willingness to engage with stakeholders across multiple operational contexts.
