Sales Account Manager – Flow Cytometry

About the role

Sony Biotechnology is seeking a Sales Account Manager with strong expertise in flow cytometry to develop the French‑speaking market in Western Europe. You will own a strategic territory, drive new business, and grow existing customer relationships for Sony's flow cytometry portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run personal business portfolio/territory, achieving sales forecasts while maintaining gross profit levels.
• Execute sales and funnel‑building activities, manage complex sales cycles, and maintain activity records in Salesforce (CRM).
• Provide forecasts, reports, market intelligence and support local marketing initiatives within agreed budgets.
• Monitor competitor activity and deliver regular market reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling flow cytometry and cell‑sorting capital equipment.
• Established network within the flow cytometry and life‑science research community.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and consistently exceed sales targets.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.

Required skills

• Deep technical knowledge of flow cytometry and cell sorting.
• Experience with consultative, complex sales processes.
• Proficiency in Salesforce (CRM) for sales activity tracking.
