Sales Representative – Construction Industries Machines

About the role

Caterpillar is seeking a Sales Representative for its Construction Industries Machines business within the Europe Central team. The role focuses on the Avesco group (Switzerland, Finland and the Baltics) and is responsible for building and managing dealer relationships to market Caterpillar products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Support field teams, dealers and customers with deep product and service expertise.
• Drive technology adoption and product health management using data insights from connected equipment.
• Design and support dealer forecasting, sales, rental and used‑equipment strategy planning.
• Conduct regular sales performance reviews with dealers and implement corrective actions.
• Identify selling opportunities, improve customer satisfaction and strengthen business relationships.
• Deliver year‑over‑year growth targets for new equipment, rentals and used equipment.
• Increase dealer participation in programs and manage the sales funnel to ensure timely actions.
• Develop targeted growth strategies for key customer accounts and optimise variance utilisation within budget.

Required profile

• Understanding of Caterpillar’s business model and compliance with established business processes.
• Experience in dealer management, sales forecasting and equipment strategy planning.
• Proven ability to lead performance reviews, drive corrective actions and achieve growth targets.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with dealers, product managers and sales organisations.
