Sales Support Specialist – Service Solutions

About the role

As a Service Sales Support Specialist in ABB's Electrification Service business unit, you will translate technical customer requests into clear, competitive service proposals for low‑ and medium‑voltage switchgear and related solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer inquiries and quotation requests for service, retrofit and modernization projects.
• Define scope of work, components and deliverables based on technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management and Field Service to assess solution availability.
• Prepare cost calculations and technical sales documentation for risk‑aware proposals.

Required profile

• Technical education in electrical engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Practical experience with low‑ or medium‑voltage switchgear (assembly, commissioning, service, retrofit, or project execution).
• Strong understanding of electrical power distribution and customer‑focused service solutions.
• Independent, structured, team‑oriented working style with good German and English or French and English communication skills.
