Senior Accountant – Finance Operations (Switzerland)

About the role

Antech is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead finance operations for its Swiss business unit. The role covers general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed‑asset accounting under both statutory regulations and US GAAP, and reports directly to the Finance Operations Director for Central Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial transactions, post incoming and outgoing payments, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Execute month‑end closing entries and document them according to internal control guidelines.
• Process supplier invoices and ensure correct data capture.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and group reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) in compliance with local standards and US GAAP.
• Generate periodical reports using OneStream.
• Manage balance‑sheet accounts, receivables, payables, fixed‑asset and lease accounting.
• Collaborate with external and internal auditors.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems.
• Lead ad‑hoc projects such as system migrations and new process implementations.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in accounting and finance.
• Proven experience preparing financial statements under local accounting standards and US GAAP.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (native) and English.
