Senior Analyst - Finance Operations

About the role

This senior analyst position supports finance operations in a fast‑growing international company based in Switzerland. Working remotely, you will ensure billing accuracy, drive cost‑reconciliation processes and provide financial insights that influence strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly cost reconciliation and reporting to prevent revenue leakage and ensure compliance.
• Partner with Accounts Receivable and cross‑functional teams to validate payroll‑related costs and resolve invoicing discrepancies.
• Perform gross‑vs‑contra reconciliations, month‑end closing activities, accruals and financial reporting.
• Investigate cost variances and deliver actionable analysis for operational and financial decision‑making.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for finance operations inquiries and improve customer billing processes.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to scale reconciliation workflows.
• Lead internal projects aimed at streamlining end‑to‑end financial operations.
• Produce ad‑hoc financial analyses, scenario modelling and risk assessments for strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in finance operations, financial analysis, FP&A, controlling or related fields.
• Strong expertise in reconciliations, cost management and operational finance within dynamic environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in fast‑paced, high‑growth settings.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management abilities across international teams.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets for large‑dataset analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP or financial systems such as NetSuite, SAP or Oracle.
