Senior Associate – Global Mobility & Immigration Consulting

About the role

PwC's tax services advise clients on tax planning, compliance and strategy, including international tax for multinational businesses. This Senior Associate role sits in the Entrepreneurial & Private Business line and supports a seamless international employee experience by managing global mobility and immigration processes for cross-border talent, ensuring compliance while enabling international careers.

Key responsibilities

• Advise internal employees, business stakeholders and human capital teams on global mobility and immigration matters, facilitating compliant international moves and cross-border work arrangements.
• Provide practical guidance throughout the global mobility lifecycle, from planning and onboarding through assignment or transfer completion.
• Collaborate with tax, payroll, reward and human capital teams so mobility processes align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of mobility programs, processes and technology solutions.
• Develop expertise in Swiss and international mobility topics and support strategic workforce mobility initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, International Relations or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in global mobility, immigration or international employee mobility, ideally in a multinational environment.
• Fluent German and English; French is an asset.
• Experience managing immigration and work authorization processes and coordinating with authorities and internal stakeholders is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of global mobility compliance, immigration processes and cross-border workforce considerations.
• Excellent organisational and project coordination skills, able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and a strong interest in using digital tools to improve service delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
