Senior Backend Engineer – Product Team

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our product team and help build a global SaaS platform that turns app store data into actionable insights. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, implementing, and scaling backend services that power ratings, reviews, and performance analytics for thousands of businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise backend services for core product features such as app ratings, reviews and performance analytics.
• Design automation systems for handling user interactions with customer reviews, including tagging, response workflows and reporting.
• Build and enhance large‑scale data processing pipelines to generate insights from app store data.
• Contribute to AI‑driven capabilities like semantic analysis, text summarisation and intelligent automation.
• Support and improve internal and public APIs linked to core platform data entities.
• Collaborate with engineering peers to ensure consistent, scalable and secure architecture across services.
• Modernise legacy services while maintaining stability and performance.
• Work with platform and DevOps teams to guarantee smooth deployments and reliable operations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with asynchronous Python (asyncio).
• Upper‑intermediate or higher English proficiency.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail in a fast‑paced product environment.
