Senior Business Controller

The Senior Business Controller will own the P&L of a dedicated entity and act as a key finance business partner to local management and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the P&L of a dedicated entity, handling financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring and variance analysis.
• Act as finance business partner to local management, providing clear financial insights, recommendations and decision support.
• Lead the preparation of budget, forecast and annual close meetings, ensuring relevant analyses, documentation and stakeholder alignment.
• Coordinate and review reporting packages for six entities for Group consolidation, ensuring accurate system entry and compliance with Group requirements.
• Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and drive corrective actions where needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Typically 7+ years of experience in controlling, FP&A, accounting or finance business partnering, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong experience with P&L ownership, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Solid understanding of consolidation, reporting packages and group reporting requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP or a comparable ERP/reporting system.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions, entities and seniority levels.
• Structured, reliable, pragmatic working style with strong attention to detail.
