Senior C++ Developer (HFT)

About the role

Our client is looking for a C++ Software Engineer with experience developing high‑load applications. The successful candidate will work on developing and optimising trading systems, algorithms, and connections to cryptocurrency exchanges. This role is well‑suited to an engineer who has experience working with systems where every microsecond matters and performance, reliability, and efficiency are critical.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain connections to cryptocurrency exchanges and data providers, and troubleshoot market data issues.
• Develop and implement new features for trading systems.
• Collaborate with different teams to ensure correct algorithm behaviour and continuously improve trading systems.
• Identify and resolve smaller bugs and technical issues.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience with C++.
• Proven experience working with high‑load applications.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Good understanding of networking concepts.
• Knowledge of financial markets and low‑latency/high‑frequency or distributed systems.
• Proficiency with modern AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
