Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure, Infrastructure & DevOps

About the role

Foxmont Talent is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer for an established Swiss technology company in Zurich. The role combines Azure, cloud infrastructure, modern workplace, security and DevOps in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure, virtual machines and Windows Server.
• Support Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace and Azure Virtual Desktop solutions.
• Develop infrastructure automation and IaC solutions using Terraform, PowerShell or Ansible.
• Work with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Implement and maintain network, firewall and cloud security solutions.
• Monitor performance, availability and reliability of infrastructure.

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure or DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server, networking and virtualisation.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop or Modern Workplace technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud security, firewalls, identity management and infrastructure protection.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within technical teams.
