Senior Engineer & Scrum Master (100%)

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a dual‑track professional who will act both as a Scrum Master and a Senior Engineer. You will enable high‑performing agile teams while designing, developing and testing software modules for complex wealth‑management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum, Kanban and SAFe ceremonies, remove impediments and coach the team to improve agile practices.
• Support the Product Owner with backlog management and ensure effective communication across the team.
• Design, develop and maintain backend and frontend software components following engineering best practices.
• Lead code reviews, conduct integration testing and contribute to architectural decisions to ensure scalability and reliability.

Required profile

• Strong communication, project management and organisational skills.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Higher education in Computer Science or equivalent and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Self‑motivated, growth‑oriented mindset with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
