Senior Finance Manager – Accounting

About the role

The (Senior) Finance Manager – Accounting leads accounting and reporting across multiple legal entities within Incyte International. You will oversee month‑end close, ensure SOX compliance, and deliver high‑quality financial statements in a complex, multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate month‑end closing activities and accruals for several entities.
• Prepare monthly P&L reports, perform variance analysis and support internal reporting.
• Coordinate statutory financial statements, ensure compliance with local GAAP and liaise with external auditors.
• Own SOX controls, document testing, and work with internal audit on remediation.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Procurement, FP&A, Tax and other cross‑functional teams as the primary accounting contact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
• 8–12 years of accounting/finance experience in a multinational setting.
• Strong knowledge of month‑end close, accrual accounting and statutory reporting across jurisdictions.
• Experience with SOX controls and compliance frameworks.
• Background in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP S/4HANA.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using financial close and reconciliation tools such as BlackLine.
