Senior Financial Controller

About the role

Delta Capacity is building a pan‑European energy storage platform and is looking for a Senior Financial Controller to lead finance operations in Zug. Reporting to the CFO, you will own accounting, consolidation, reporting, audit and tax processes across the group and its project companies.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting for the Group.
• Manage consolidation of multiple legal entities and project SPVs across jurisdictions.
• Prepare management and financial reports in line with IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Coordinate group and statutory audits and act as primary contact for external auditors.
• Oversee corporate tax, VAT and related reporting with external advisers.
• Lead short‑ and medium‑term cash‑flow and liquidity forecasting, including funding analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning with integrated financial models.
• Develop and strengthen financial controls, accounting processes, reporting systems and automation as the business scales.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in financial accounting, controllership, audit or related finance roles.
• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CA, CPA, Swiss Certified Accountant or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting background with working knowledge of IFRS.
• Proven experience in multi‑entity accounting and group consolidation.
• Hands‑on experience managing external audits.
• Practical understanding of corporate tax and VAT, including cross‑border transactions.
• Strong grasp of cash‑flow statements, liquidity forecasting and working‑capital analysis.
• Fluent in English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
