Senior Frontend React Developer – Financial Platforms (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to join our Zurich team at a leading financial institution. You will shape the frontend architecture of mission‑critical financial platforms and help deliver a new investment channel integrated with the e‑banking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own complex frontend solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, security and maintainability.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into high‑quality user experiences.
• Deliver production‑grade React and TypeScript code for financial applications.
• Address advanced challenges such as state management, performance optimisation and backend integration.
• Refactor and modernise existing codebases and support troubleshooting in development and production.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and React at enterprise scale.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
• Proven ability to thrive in agile, cross‑functional teams.
