Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer on Team Appic you will be the vital link between native mobile apps and the web frontend/backend, building the web layer that enables seamless communication and ensuring reliable push‑notification delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship code across the full stack, from frontend to backend.
• Build and maintain web‑facing interfaces and APIs that mobile apps rely on, supporting integration via WebViews.
• Ensure the technical reliability of the push‑notification module so the backend can deliver all required pushes.
• Coordinate development of native iOS and Android features with feature teams, clarifying dependencies and interfaces.
• Coach software engineers, explaining complex topics clearly.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on software engineering track record designing and building complex solutions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of classic fullstack web development experience, preferably with React/TypeScript on the frontend and .NET/C# on the backend; experience with GraphQL, MongoDB, and mobile development (Swift, Kotlin) is a plus.
• Some experience with the end‑to‑end lifecycle of mobile apps or a strong motivation to grow into this area.
• Willingness to challenge existing practices and propose more efficient, automated solutions.
• Creative problem‑solving and initiative.
• Fluent English; good German is a plus.
