Senior Group Accountant

About the role

SPT Group, an international mid‑size semiconductor company, is expanding its Corporate Finance team in Lyss. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance, the Senior Group Accountant will own the monthly and annual consolidation of the group under Swiss GAAP FER and act as the main liaison for local finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate the monthly and yearly group consolidation using LucaNet.
• Review financial data of all international subsidiaries, including intercompany reconciliations.
• Coordinate the group audit and work closely with external auditors.
• Develop and maintain the Group Accounting Manual and internal control system.
• Standardise and improve group‑wide accounting, closing and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent training in accounting, finance or business administration.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, group accounting or audit.
• Strong analytical skills and an independent, structured way of working.
• Fluent in German and English.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER.
• Familiarity with IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Experience with consolidation tools such as LucaNet and/or proALPHA.
