Senior Group Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor

About the role

The client, an international bank's asset management division in Zurich, seeks a German‑speaking Senior Group Internal Auditor to lead independent audits, support senior management, and ensure robust control environments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audits across the Asset & Wealth Management division, assessing control design and effectiveness.
• Support forensic audits, identify irregularities, and evaluate compliance risks.
• Conduct quality controls on key operational processes and monitor implementation of corrective measures.
• Review governance structures to ensure alignment with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare audit documentation, record findings, and contribute to audit reports and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance or Economics, with CPA or CIA certification.
• Professional experience at an international bank or leading audit firm, preferably at assistant manager or manager level.
• Strong analytical abilities, detail‑oriented, and capable of working under time pressure.
• Fluent in German and English.

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
