Senior HR Professional – Strategic HR Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Senior HR Professional to lead the Human Resources function for a long‑standing industrial company in Ticino. The role will shape HR into a strategic pillar that supports growth, compliance and employee well‑being while respecting the company’s heritage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies that make the company a “Best Place to Work”, fostering a vibrant culture.
• Act as a strategic advisor to leadership, improving delegation, role clarity and internal organization.
• Lead end‑to‑end HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and compliance.
• Design clear job descriptions, backup structures and interchangeability maps.
• Digitize HR workflows and promote adoption of tools such as DocuWare.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss labour law and communicate employment terms.
• Support managers in building a respectful, safe and compliant work environment.
• Design fair evaluation and bonus systems in collaboration with top management.
• Coach team leaders through “train the trainer” practices and people development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
• Several years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or strategic HR role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Fluency in Italian and English (spoken and written); German is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss labour law, compliance and local praxis.
• Proven ability to manage HR budgets and drive continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR digital tools and document digitisation (e.g., DocuWare).
• Experience with ISO standards and HR‑related internal audits.
• Solid understanding of Swiss labour law and compliance processes.
