Senior International Tax Manager – European Markets (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior International Tax Manager to lead tax compliance, audit defence and risk mitigation across multiple European markets for a global healthcare company. The role acts as the primary tax liaison between local operations and the global tax function.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main tax contact for assigned countries, advising finance, legal, supply‑chain and HR on tax implications of transactions and initiatives.
• Manage relationships with local tax authorities and ensure professional communication.
• Oversee corporate income‑tax compliance and coordinate tax audit defence with shared‑service teams and external advisors.
• Identify, assess and mitigate regional tax risks, including indirect, withholding and other local taxes.
• Monitor legislative changes, evaluate impact and update processes accordingly.
• Coordinate transfer‑pricing documentation and adjustments in partnership with the TP team.
• Review contracts and business projects from a tax perspective.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in corporate and international tax.
• Proven ability to analyse complex tax issues and deliver clear, practical recommendations.
• Confident communicator capable of influencing stakeholders across functions and regions.
• Experience managing tax compliance, audits and external advisors.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or related field; tax specialization preferred.
• Relevant tax experience, ideally within pharma or a Big‑4 environment.
• Solid understanding of European regional tax frameworks, including Eastern Europe.
