Senior iOS Engineer – Geneva

About the role

Based in our Geneva office, you will join high‑impact product teams building privacy‑first services such as Proton Mail, Drive, VPN and more. You will collaborate with product, design and engineering colleagues to deliver high‑quality iOS experiences that protect millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship robust iOS applications for consumer privacy products.
• Collaborate across multiple product teams to define architecture and ensure scalability.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the technical bar within the team.
• Optimize performance, concurrency, and memory usage on Apple platforms.
• Participate in product and technical discussions, navigating ambiguity to deliver user‑focused solutions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience building and shipping high‑quality iOS applications.
• Strong focus on product quality, usability and exceptional user experiences.
• Proven ability to create maintainable, scalable and testable mobile architectures.
• Comfortable working with large codebases and collaborating across teams.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical leadership.
• Deep understanding of performance, concurrency and mobile memory management.
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments and influence product direction.
