Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join a leading life‑sciences client in Basel. The role sits at the intersection of commercial operations, procurement, manufacturing and strategic business support, working closely with international stakeholders and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial and manufacturing agreements, including supply, procurement and customer contracts.
• Provide legal support to business stakeholders on operational and strategic matters in an international environment.
• Advise on CDMO‑related contractual issues and manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as procurement, operations, business development/sales and senior management.
• Contribute to legal risk management and compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• Fully qualified lawyer.
• Significant experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical or CDMO industry.
• Proven track record in complex commercial contracting and manufacturing/supply agreements.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Resident of Switzerland or Liechtenstein.

Required skills

• Legal drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of CDMO and manufacturing regulatory frameworks.
