Senior Manager Clinical Operations

About the role

The Senior Manager Clinical Operations is responsible for strategic and tactical planning and execution of R&D‑sponsored clinical programs across Phase I‑IV. The role involves leading cross‑functional teams and ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee complex global clinical trials in one or more therapeutic areas.
• Drive protocol‑related activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring inspection readiness and compliance with GxP and global requirements.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, manage CROs and vendors, and contribute to SOP development and reviews.
• Prepare clinical program updates, manage financial planning, budgets, accruals and forecasts.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in life sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals) or medical background.
• Minimum 7 years of clinical research experience in industry, with at least 5 years in clinical trial management.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work under high pressure in an international, cross‑functional environment.
