Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs (CHAT) – Switzerland & Austria

About the role

The Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs (CHAT) leads end‑to‑end corporate affairs activities for the sub‑region, focusing on Switzerland and Austria. Reporting to the Director, CHAT/CEE, the role drives integrated communications across external and internal channels, media relations, brand reputation, disease awareness and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated corporate affairs plans for assigned brands and therapeutic areas, translating regional strategy into concrete communications tactics.
• Manage external communications, media relations, thought‑leadership content and crisis response, ensuring compliance with global frameworks.
• Lead brand and disease‑awareness campaigns, creating scientifically accurate content for earned, owned and digital channels.
• Collaborate with drug development, medical, commercial and market‑access teams to align messaging and support clinical‑trial recruitment.
• Engage patient advocacy groups and stakeholders, integrating patient and caregiver perspectives into communications initiatives.
• Deliver internal communications and employee‑engagement programs that align internal and external narratives.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in brand, commercial or corporate communications, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑impact, multi‑channel communications programs in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of the political landscape in Switzerland and Austria and its impact on corporate reputation.
• Strategic thinker with excellent digital, writing, content‑creation and storytelling abilities.
• Experience working in large global organizations and collaborating across matrix teams including regulatory, medical and legal.
• Fluent in English and German; additional regional language a plus.
