Senior .NET Software Engineer (80-100% Hybrid)

About the role

Hexagon’s Geosystems business area is looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer to develop and support the integration of high‑tech surveying instruments into a globally distributed software landscape. You will work in an international Scrum team, applying C#.NET (core) on Windows and Linux platforms while leveraging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude Sonnet.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integration solutions for surveying instruments across production and service environments.
• Collaborate with production and service engineers to define requirements, design solutions, and analyse problems.
• Ensure implementation quality throughout the development cycle, including independent testing sessions on site.
• Utilise AI tools like Microsoft Copilot and Claude Sonnet to enhance development efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework with at least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Enthusiastic about automation, Smart Factory and IoT technologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English and willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Self‑initiative, analytical thinking and reliability as an individual contributor.
