About the role
Lonza is seeking a Senior Operator/Biotechnologist to join its Ibex® Complex in Visp, Switzerland. The role supports the production of biological products within a modular, cGMP‑compliant environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform production steps in accordance with safety regulations and cGMP quality requirements.
- Identify, interpret and eliminate process deviations.
- Record production data and carry out necessary calculations.
- Assist in training new team members and support shift work schedules.
Required profile
- Completed education in chemical or biopharmaceutical sciences.
- Professional experience in pharmaceutical production as an operator or production technician.
- Safety‑conscious mindset and willingness to work in a 4‑shift pattern.
- Fluent English; German language skills are advantageous.
Required skills
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations.
- Understanding of process engineering principles.
