Senior or Assistant Manager – Accounting Advisory Services

About the role

KPMG is hiring a Senior or Assistant Manager for its Accounting Advisory Services team in Geneva, working 80-100% of the time. The team advises clients on accounting standards, IPO readiness and financial reporting for capital market transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on the introduction and application of accounting standards under IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER, US GAAP and the Swiss Code of Obligations
• Carry out IPO readiness assessments for clients exploring capital markets transactions, including mergers with Special Purpose Acquisition Companies
• Assist in preparing or analysing financial statements, including carve-outs, for capital market transactions, IPOs and debt offerings, domestic and cross-border
• Provide financial reporting support for M&A, divestitures, capital raising, financing structures, financial instruments, revenue recognition and management financial metrics
• Support CFOs, finance managers or group controllers in improving business and financial reporting processes
• Maintain existing client relationships and help the team acquire new clients and mandates
