Senior Pharmacometrician (Oncology & Antibiotics)

About the role

Debiopharm is seeking a senior pharmacometrician to lead modeling and simulation activities for oncology and antibiotic programs. You will apply state‑of‑the‑art PK/PD and disease‑progression methodologies to accelerate the development of innovative medicines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and oversee pharmacometrics activities from non‑clinical to clinical stages, focusing on oncology programs.
• Develop and execute population PK, PK/PD, exposure‑response, disease‑progression, and trial‑simulation models in line with regulatory guidelines and internal SOPs.
• Contribute to model‑informed drug development strategies and optimal trial design.
• Prepare regulatory documentation, support health‑authority interactions, and communicate results across cross‑functional teams.
• Participate in scientific communications, conferences, and external forums.

Required profile

• PhD (or equivalent) in pharmacometrics, mathematics, statistics or related field.
• 3‑5 years of pharmacometrics experience in industry or academia; oncology experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of pharmacology, PK concepts, GCP/GCLP and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment while collaborating across functions.

Required skills

• Population PK/PD modeling software: Monolix, NONMEM.
• Programming languages: R, Python.
• PBPK modeling tools (asset): SimCYP, PK‑Sim, Gastro‑Plus.
