Senior Product Manager – Atomic Team

About the role

As a Senior Product Manager for Smallpdf's core tools, you will own the end‑to‑end experience of high‑traffic document utilities such as compression, conversion and merging. Working from our Zurich office in a hybrid setting, you will collaborate closely with engineering, design, SEO, growth and marketing teams to make these tools the fastest and most reliable on the market.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete product lifecycle for individual tools, from upload experience to processing, output quality and download.
• Partner with SEO, SEM and growth teams to optimise acquisition channels, including AI‑driven search.
• Design, launch and analyse A/B experiments on millions of sessions, iterating or retiring features based on results.
• Conduct deep data analyses and user research, acting as the voice of the user in every decision.
• Set strategy and roadmap using user feedback, data and business goals, building commercial cases for each bet.
• Lead cross‑functional alignment without formal authority, presenting plans and outcomes to leadership.

Required profile

• 6+ years of product management experience, preferably with consumer‑facing, high‑volume tools.
• Hands‑on experience running A/B tests on live traffic.
• Daily use of AI for workflows, analysis or prototyping, with an understanding of its limitations.
• Comfortable discussing trade‑offs, errors and estimations with engineers.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and define problems before they are named.
• Strong commercial sense – you can estimate a feature’s value before building it.
