Senior Product & Technical Sales Engineer (Construction)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product & Technical Sales Engineer to act as the bridge between our engineering team, sales organisation and construction clients. You will combine deep civil/structural engineering knowledge with customer‑facing skills to deliver tailored solutions for major projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and engineering advice to consulting engineers, contractors and construction professionals.
• Develop project‑specific engineering solutions that meet structural steel and reinforced‑concrete requirements.
• Attend client meetings, deliver product demonstrations, technical workshops and training sessions.
• Own key engineering projects from concept through to successful technical delivery.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to translate customer needs into practical designs.
• Contribute to process improvements and more efficient engineering workflows.
• Build long‑term client relationships through high‑level technical service.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of structural steel and reinforced‑concrete design.
• Experience in structural engineering, design consultancy or a technical engineering role.
• Knowledge of SIA standards and Eurocodes.
• Proven ability to provide technical advice and manage customer‑focused projects.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in German (additional European languages a plus).
